Ambulatory Detox

Ambulatory (Outpatient) Detoxification is an affordable detoxification program from drugs and alcohol under the care of a physician, nursing staff, and licensed chemical dependency counselors. This program is unique in that it provides the benefits of Sub-Acute Detox, but in a more cost effective and less restrictive environment. The Ambulatoy (Outpatient) Detoxification Treatment Program is provided daily, seven days per week. Services provided include assessment, medical history and physical examination, vital signs, individual counseling, chemical dependency education groups, case management, and referral. Ambulatory Detox, 5 to 10 days in length, meets for a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 5 hurs daily with the longest days being the day of admission and discharge. Each patient is assessed by the Nurse and the Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor to determine the eligibility of the patient. Following this, the Medical Director meets with the patient and completes a medical history and physical examination, determines medications and protocols needed, and authorized the admission to ambulatory detoxification treatment. Each day the patient will be seen by the Nurse and the Counselor in order to assess their progress in the program and to determine further needs. The staff will work with you in a a loving and caring manner so that you will be able to detox on an outpatient basis and continue with your daily responsibilities, such as employment and/or school. Prior to completion of Ambulatory Detoxification, the Counselor and Nurse will meet with the patient to determine further treatment needs which may include individual therapy or intensive outpatient treatment.

The Ambulatory Detoxification program, provided by trained clinicians under the supervision of the physician, allows affordable per diem rates that benefit patients and managed mental health companies alike by cutting out the residential portion of the fee completely. We are trend setters by providing the highest acuity of care in the least restrictive environment.
